About Us

Fortro Truck Services Ltd. is based in St. Pierre-Jolys, MB. Fortro first opened its doors on May 1, 2023. Beryl & Jeanette Isaac, founders of Stellar Mechanics, bought the truck repair shop formerly known as T & H Manufacturing. They hired their son Matthew Isaac and a mechanic named Riley Unger to run the shop for them.

Our People

Riley Unger is our Shop Foreman. He is a licensed journeyman truck mechanic. Riley has been in the industry for over 10 years, working for several companies in the Steinbach area including Steinbach Truck Service and Hylife.

Matthew Isaac is our Parts/Service Advisor. He has worked a variety of jobs including 4 years at a dirt moving company in Rosenort doing everything from running equipment to surveying and building GPS files to managing the parts department at their shop. Most recently he spent a year pulling a Super-B locally and into Saskatchewan hauling grain. During this time he has gained insight on repair shops from a driver's perspective to add to his previous experience in the parts world.
